VMMA PRINCIPLES

VMMA adheres to three core principles:
Fitness, Defense, and Purpose.

By incorporating the High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) model into all our classes, participants will achieve higher levels of fitness, strength, endurance, and stamina all while learning defensive techniques that could save one’s life!

All instructional components of every class are designed around an overarching goal that aligns with the VMMA mission.

With low student-to-instructor ratios, participants will not feel “stranded” or “lonely” as they might feel in typical gyms.

Today, the diverse VMMA student body includes special operation soldiers from every branch of service, surgeons, accountants, lawyers, law enforcement officials, EMTs, fire fighters, 911 operators, teachers/professors, homemakers, and more. At VMMA, our instructors teach honor-roll students and children who have struggled with emotional and behavioral challenges. All VMMA program participants, regardless of background or social status, join together as a unified team so that, collectively, they create a better, more rewarding lifestyle for themselves and others.
